NOTICE: LAKESIDE MEMORIAL PARK

Cemetery personnel will start to empty urns on October 15, 2006 .  Any flowers or plants, live or artificial, must be removed by October 15, 2006 .  Wreaths may be placed after Thanksgiving. 

 

NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF WAUPACA
RUMMAGE AND GARAGE SALES

 Residents may conduct on their own premises no more than 2 rummage/garage sales in any one year.  Each such sale may be held for not more than 3 consecutive days and shall not be conducted between the hours of 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 A.M.

 A license is not required for religious, educational, charitable or civic organizations when conducted on the premises of the organization and when the proceeds are to be used for the purposes of the organization

 LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR PER SECTION 12.09 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF WAUPACA:

 Any resident conducting more than 2 rummage/garage sales in any one year must obtain a license from the Clerk.  Before issuing the license, the Clerk shall refer the application to the Building Inspector.  Within seven days the Building Inspector shall report to the Clerk whether or not such sale at the proposed location is compatible with the zoning code

 The License Fee shall be $10.00 per day.

CITY OF WAUPACA PUBLIC NOTICE
YEAR ROUND OUTDOOR WATER USE CONSERVATION

 The City of Waupaca Water Use Conservation Ordinance states that since:

 Unattended outdoor city water use, other than hand held uses, can only be used year round on this schedule including weekends and holidays:

 Hand held hose watering for flowers, gardens, trees, shrubs, car washings, wading pools under 50 gallons and recreational uses will be allowed at all times.

 Outdoor City water use that allows the water to run off to ditches, gutters, inlets, drains and pavements is strictly prohibited.
