Currently, the department adopts by reference the 2006 editions of the ICC suite of building codes– the International Building Code® (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code® (IECC), International Existing Buildings Code® (IEBC), the International Fuel Gas Code® (IFGC) and the International Mechanical Code® (IMC) – and makes Wisconsin modifications to these codes.

Things got so busy for Centerline Machine of Waupaca last summer the company's planned expansion got put on the back burner. That turned out to be a good thing - the original plan wouldn't have been large enough to handle the company's recent growth.

The Governor's office announced yesterday the EECBG awards. The City of Waupaca received $78,300 for lighting retrofit in City Hall/Library and Parks & Rec along with two new energy efficient boilers for the City Hall/Library.
