THE WAUPACA RECREATION CENTER ~ 2009-2010

**AFTER SCHOOL HOURS**

The Waupaca Rec Center is open after school Monday-Thursday from 3:30-5:00 Oct. 19 thru March 26^th.  Kids, 3^rd grade and older may be at the Rec Center after school without a parent or older sibling.  While there is staff here at the Rec Center, it is important to keep in mind that this is not day care or an after school program.  We do not have a check in system and can not and will not make a child stay until 5:00.  Please discuss this with your child.  Until October 19^th and after March 26^th the Rec Center will be open during our OFFICE hours.  It is important to pick your child up promptly. 

**Early Dismissal Days**

On days when school dismisses at noon, the Rec Center will be open and available for the kids until 5:00pm.  On days when there is no school, we will be open only during our regular OFFICE hours.  We will make every effort to have at least one gym available when there is no school.  WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CLOSE FOR SPECIAL EVENTS OR BAD WEATHER OR CITY MANDATED FURLOUGH DAYS.  Listen to WDUX for closures due to weather.

FRI      6pm-11pm (year round)

SAT    6pm-11pm (year round)

SAT    1pm-11pm (October 19-March 26)

SUN    1pm-5pm (December 1 – March 26)

**ID Cards**

New ID's are required BY OCTOBER 19th for those youth using the REC CENTER for Open Rec. We issue ID cards to kids in Grades 3-12 only.  Without an ID card, you will need to pay the $1.00 daily fee on the weekends.  ID's">IDs are made as staff and computer equipment is available.  ID or fee is not necessary for patrons using the building for a program, for example, Saturday Morning basketball. 

**FEES**

The Waupaca Rec Center is FREE for residents of the City of Waupaca, Town of Waupaca, Dayton and Farmington.  The following fees apply to these non-Member residents:

Residents of Lind, Lanark, Belmont, etc (Waupaca School District) pay the following fees:

Daily    $1.00

Individual - yearly pass    $20.00

Family - yearly pass    $40.00

Residents Family - yearly pass     $40.00
