The Public Works Department maintains top quality parks, streets, flood control facilities, buildings, water distribution system, sewer collection and treatment facilities.  In addition, the Public Works Department is responsible for managing numerous other city items, including the municipal cemetery, refuge collection and disposal, and snow and ice removal.
