The Waupaca Youth Basketball Board is a volunteer, non-profit organization that assists in developing basketball programs to motivate the personal and educational growth of its participants by providing healthy, challenging instruction and competition. The focus of the Waupaca Youth Basketball Board is to promote player development and enjoyment of the game while creating good competition. The Board will be involved in the development of traveling teams at all levels and will act as a resource to all traveling teams’ coaches.
New News: All parents of WYBC traveling team participants are required to complete a set of forms before his/her child is able to participate. All of these forms have been uploaded to the website under the required forms tab. When forms are completed please hand them into Aaron Jenson at the Rec Center. Waupaca Youth Tournaments
This winter Waupaca’s Varsity boys and girls coaches and Waupaca Youth Basketball Club have organized a total of four youth tournaments. All tournaments will be played at the Waupaca High School located on E2325 King Rd.
The Waupaca Girls team will host a 6th – 8th grade tournament on Saturday February 27th, 2016 as well as a 3rd – 5th grade tournament on Saturday January 30th, 2016. Both tournaments have an entry fee of $150.00 and a gaurenteed 3 games. Links to tournament registration forms can be found below.
The Waupaca Boys team will host a 7th and 8th grade tournament on January 16th, 2016 as well as a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade boys tournament on February 13th, 2016. Both tournaments will have a $150 entry fee and teams will be gaurenteed 3 games.
