Big Balloon Rally, June 15 - 17, 2007
Celebrations continued with a Hot Air
Balloon Rally held in conjunction with Strawberry Fest. The event
was held on the Waupaca High School grounds and was a great success!

Day Celebration, July 4, 2007
Theme for this
year was "Remember the Good Old Days". Parade at 10:00 a.m., followed by
a Knights of Columbus Chicken BBQ at South Park, food stand by the
Kiwanis, children's activities and live entertainment by "The Freezecats"
and "Dr. Dobbe" until dusk followed by a super display of fireworks.
Sesquicentennial Closing Celebration, October 13, 2007
Waupaca celebrated the
closing of the Sesquicentennial celebration with a Potato Bake, old time
kids games, square dancing, beard growing juding and entertainment for
all ages at the Waupaca Rec Center during the day.
The River Cities Jazz band provided at "Night To Remember" at the Indian
Crossing Casino. The evening included a silent auction.
