| Work on High Street got underway this past week. The old asphalt pavement was “pulverized” from Highland Drive to Fulton St. The pulverizing turns the old asphalt into a gravel like material. Much of the pulverized material will be reused as a gravel base for the new road in the near future. It also means that the road will be fairly rough so please take caution as you travel through the construction zone. The sanitary sewer main was also replaced from Fulton St to Union St. Work will continue from Union St to the south after the Memorial Day weekend on Tuesday May 31st.
