The lateral and hydrant work progress well this past week. Lateral work will continue into next week. Service disruptions are expected and notification will be provided as usual.
After all the utility work is complete a new crew will mobilize onsite to start working on building the new roadway. Heavy gravel work and concrete work is scheduled in a couple weeks. We anticipate Harrison Street from Fulton Street to Hillcrest Drive to be closed starting in early August. Work items include: water lateral replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, and pavement replacement. Work is expected to be complete by the end of August for both High Street and Harrison Street.
A detour will be set to direct through traffic around the construction zone with the route utilizing Hillcrest Drive from Fulton near Hardee’s to the Granite and Harrison intersection.
