More water laterals were replaced this last week on High Street. There are still a few more to do and will be replaced next week. Service disruptions are expected and notification will be provided as usual.
Storm sewer installation is expected to start next week as well. The storm sewer is concrete pipe and structures that were recently delivered to the job site. Once the road is complete this improvement will help keep rain water off the roadway.
Gravel and concrete work is still scheduled to start in a couple weeks. North Harrison Street from Fulton Street to Hillcrest Drive is still planned to be closed starting in early August. A detour will be set to direct through traffic around the construction zone with the route utilizing Hillcrest Drive from Fulton near Hardee’s to the Granite and Harrison intersection. Work to be completed on N Harrison includes: water lateral replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, and pavement replacement.
Work is still on track to be complete by the end of August for both High Street and N Harrison Street.
