All but 1 water lateral remains to be replaced on High Street. Weather prevented crews from working on Friday (7/15). Storm sewer work did not begin as planned.
Come Monday (7/18), there will be two pipe crews working on High Street. One crew will finish the last water lateral and then work on sanitary laterals. The other crew will start working on the storm sewer improvements.
A professional plumber will also be onsite next week to review and complete all interior water connections. This is legally required and ensures compliance with state plumbing codes.
Gravel and concrete work is still now scheduled to start the week of July 25th. North Harrison Street from Fulton Street to Hillcrest Drive is still planned to start early August. A detour will be set to direct through traffic around the construction zone with the route utilizing Hillcrest Drive from Fulton near Hardee’s to the Granite and Harrison intersection. Work to be completed on N Harrison includes: water lateral replacement, spot sidewalk replacement, and pavement replacement.
Work is still on track to be complete near the end of August for both High Street and N Harrison Street.
