The City of Waupaca Technology Department seeks someone, for a part-time position, who has a knack for technology to help bring high-speed internet to underserved areas in Waupaca County. In the position of Internet Technician and Customer Service Specialist, each day will be different with a lot of variety as you spend time both in and out of the office at customer sites. You’ll install and de-install internet service, troubleshoot networking issues, help with the setup of new infrastructure and ensure our customers have reliable internet service. We’re in the middle of an expansion project so right now is a great time to join us. No experience is required. What we look for in a successful candidate is the ability to learn and retain technical concepts, reliability and the ability to climb a ladder and have some comfort working with heights. This position will start at 15/hours/week at $12-$14/hour.
