An election is to be held in the City of Waupaca on Tuesday April 4, 2023. The following offices are to be elected to succeed the present incumbents listed:

An Alderperson for the First Aldermanic District for a term of two (2) years ending in 2025;

An Alderperson for the Second Aldermanic District to succeed Paul Hagen for a term of two (2) years ending in 2025;

An Alderperson for the Third Aldermanic District to succeed Scott Purchatzke for a term of two (2) years ending in 2025;

An Alderperson for the Fourth Aldermanic District to succeed Dmitri Martin for a term of two (2) years ending in 2025;

An Alderperson for the Fifth Aldermanic District to succeed Collin Dykstra for a term of two (2) years ending in 2025.

The first day to circulate nomination paper is December 1, 2022 and the final day for filing nomination papers is 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday January 3, 2023, in the office of the City Clerk. Nomination Papers, Declaration of Acceptance and Residency, Election Campaign Registration Statements and Aldermanic District boundary maps for the city of Waupaca are available in the City Clerk’s Office at 111 S. Main Street, Waupaca, WI.

If a Primary is necessary, the Primary will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Acceptable Photo ID will be required to vote at this election. If you do not have a photo ID you may obtain a free ID for voting from the Division of Motor Vehicles.
