City Service Notices

  • Masks are optional in city facilities for fully vaccinated individuals. 
  • Waupaca Area Public Library – Curbside pickup continues.  In-person study room use, intentional browsing, hold pick-ups and computer use during normal library hours (M-R 9a-8p, F 9a-6p, Sat 9a-2p).  Study room limits 4 hours per day.. All departments open.  Limit of 50 persons total in library.  Teen room limited to 8 persons.  Youth 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult.  Starting May 10th the Conference Room available for 4 individuals for up to 4 hours.   • Waupaca Senior Center – The WSC is open for business with the majority of its programs available.  Class sizes are limited but pre-registration is not required.  All classes are first come, first serve.  Please contact the Waupaca Senior Center if you have any questions.  715-258-4437. 
  • Waupaca Recreation Center – Open with capacity limitations, 40 people maximum per gym, 20 people maximum in the exercise room and 15 people maximum in the lobby.  Locker Rooms open.  It is recommended to bring your own equipment for use, limited rec center equipment will be available.

  • Open Public Access to Meetings.  Most city government meetings will be in-person.  It is up to each meeting chair if meeting attendance will be in-person, hybrid or virtual.  Details can be found on the meeting’s agenda.  All City Council, City Plan and fully virtual meetings will be broadcast on Facebook Live, FM96.3 and Win-TV 991.  Public Input for any city meeting can be submitted to  

Alternative Ways to Do City Business

  • Pay your water/sewer/Waupaca Online Utility Bill: Use the dropbox at City Hall; utilize online payment options.  Questions about your bill can be answered via phone by calling 715.258.4411.

  • Many city permit forms are available online.  Download the form and contact us at city hall 715.258.4411 to find out who to email it to for processing and payment.

  •  Register to Vote (or check your registration status) online.

  • Request an absentee ballot online.

  • Submit a city service request about various issues online.

  • Access forms online to apply for a building permit.  When you complete your form call us to submit and for online payment options.  715.258.4404

  • Staff Contact Directory.  Please call for assistance before making an in-person visit.  Many items can be answered over the phone.

  • ActiveNet – Manage your parks, recreation and senior center items online.  Give us a call at the Parks & Recreation department if you need assistance.  715.258.4435.
