The June Downtown Visioning Committee meeting acted as a summary of the committee and its work the first six months of the year. This summary was especially crucial as it provided a progress report to the community.
In addition to providing an update to the community, the Committee also sought input from the community. A “Downtown Waupaca Should…” be board was placed in the lobby between City Hall and the Library. For two weeks, visitors were able to post their beliefs on what Downtown Waupaca should be. Answers were varied, but included “home to a big box retailer,” “return the trolley,” and “improve parking.”
