A Friends group for the City of Waupaca Parks was formed in 2012. This volunteer group acts to support the Parks and Recreation Department in planning, fundraising and volunteer support. Meetings are held quarterly at the Recreation Center. All it takes to become involved is an interest in improving and maintaining our facilities with a vision for the future. Perhaps you are only interested in South Park, the River Ridge Trail System, volunteering for a special event or expanding programming. There are always opportunities for you to support the Recreation Department. We look forward to your support and seeing you at a meeting.
