Story Walk promotes literacy and physical fitness. Families are encouraged to participate in this No Child Left Inside activity. All are welcome to take a short hike on the River Ridge Trail and enjoy the children’s book posted along the trail. The experience is free. Visitors are encouraged to share their experience by commenting here on the date of their visit, how many people were in their party, and any comment or suggestion they may have for the project. Photos of you on the trail would be welcome, too. Sponsored by the Waupaca Area Public Library and the Waupaca Park & Recreation Department. The Story Walk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
