 Waupaca Senior Center Exercise Programs 2015:

**A 21 exercise punch card plus a chance for a prize in our quarterly drawing is available for purchase of $20.00 in 2015. This can be used for Qi Gong, Tai Chi & Yoga. Your exercise punch card may be kept in the Recreation Center Exercise Room.

*All classes are available to members of the Waupaca Senior Center

Zumba : Mondays at 4:30pm, Wednesdays at 9:30am & 4:30pm, and Fridays at 10:30am.

      • Latin inspired, cardio workout for active seniors.


Walking Group: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m. (FREE)

      • Walking in the gyms 1 to 2 miles during winter months and outside when the weather is permissible.

Line Dancing: Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. (FREE) Spring through late Fall.

      • Cardio class in this time slot, Winter through Spring

Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program: Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m.; Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. (FREE)

      • Led by certified instructors. Class may include a variety of exercise including, range of motion, balance, cardio, strengthening and relaxati0n.

Senior Cardio: Thursday at 4:30 p.m. (FREE) Fall through Spring

      • Variety of cardio moves designed to increase your heart rate. Time slot may also be used for 50+ Zumba class.

Hiking: Friday at 8:00 a.m. (FREE) Spring through Fall

      • Hiking the trails in the Waupaca area, weather permitting.

Strong Seniors: Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. ($20 for 12 week sessions)

      • Regimented strength training class led by certified instructors with Fall, Winter and Spring sessions.

Qi Gong: Mondays at 10:00 a.m. and Fridays at 9:00 a.m.

      • Slow fluid movements that stretch and strengthen in a deep breathing, meditative state of mind.

Yoga: Starting in March, Mondays at 10:00 a.m.

T’ai Chi: Tuesday and Thursday at 1:00 p.m.

      • Certified instructor leads Sun Style T’ai Chi. Tai Chi is a great exercise that can be used to help with mobility, movement and increase balance.
